As we expand our presence in North America, we are seeking a dedicated Technical Manager – Blades to lead the execution, quality, and technical delivery of blade service operations across the region.
Position Summary:
FairWind is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager – Blades to lead our commercial growth strategy for blade services across North America. This pivotal role will focus on expanding our market presence, acquiring new customers, and building strong client relationships in the U.S. and Canada. Reporting directly to the COO Service and working in close collaboration with the Global Head of Blades and commercial support teams, the Sales Manager will serve as the regional subject matter expert and business driver for all blade-related sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales & Market Expansion
•Lead all sales efforts related to blade services across North America.
•Drive growth by identifying, developing, and converting new customer opportunities in utility-scale wind.
•Develop strategic plans to increase market share and expand into new customer segments and geographies.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to cross-sell other FairWind service offerings.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
•Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for blade-related services.
•Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote FairWind's capabilities.
•Understand customer needs and tailor proposals and solutions accordingly.
Commercial Execution
•Lead pricing discussions, proposal development, and contract negotiations aligned with company objectives.
•Work closely with the global tender and sales support teams to develop winning offers.
•Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
•5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the wind energy or renewable energy sector, preferably with a focus on blade services.
•Proven success in developing customer relationships and closing high-value contracts.
•Strong knowledge of the U.S. and Canadian wind markets.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•Comfortable working independently and across departments in a fast-paced environment.
•Willingness to travel regionally (up to 40–60 days per year).
•Fluency in English required; Spanish or French is a plus.
