Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in direct sales or territory sales roles.

- Strong account management skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

- Demonstrated success in lead generation and business development initiatives.

- Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed decisions regarding sales strategies.

- Familiarity with relevant software tools for tracking leads and managing client relationships.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.

- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.

- Technical sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Engage with potential customers through door-to-door outreach and outside sales efforts to generate leads and build relationships.

- Conduct thorough assessments of customer needs and provide tailored solar solutions that meet their requirements.

- Educate customers about the advantages of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental benefits, and available financing options.

- Utilize software tools to manage customer information, track sales progress, and streamline communication.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to ensure a smooth sales process while maintaining company standards.

- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and develop effective sales strategies.

- Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the installation process and address any questions or concerns they may have.

Skills

- Strong understanding of the solar market and industry trends.

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

- Proven experience in solar sales or related fields is preferred.

- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both clients and team members.

- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.

- Proficiency in using software tools for sales tracking and customer management.

- Ability to negotiate effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Experience in door-to-door sales or outside sales is highly desirable.

- 1099 contract
