Position Overview

We’re seeking a motivated Sales and Service Representative to support customers throughout our service areas. This hybrid role combines inside sales and hands-on field service. You’ll manage customer relationships, quote and process orders, and perform service work such as in-house repair work, panel installations, product startups, and on-site troubleshooting.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and hands-on technical work — ideal for a self-starter who takes pride in solving problems and building strong long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product and technical support

- Prepare, send, and follow up on quotes promptly and accurately

- Process orders and manage job flow from quotation to completion

- Travel to customer sites for installations, startups, and troubleshooting

- Coordinate shipping, receiving

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for parts and service materials

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors

- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction

- Document all service and sales activity accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

- Prior experience in sales, field service, or a related technical support role preferred

- Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude (training provided)

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite experience a plus)

- Comfortable working in both office and field environments

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

- Industry knowledge (natural gas compression, industrial engines, or controls) a plus

Schedule

- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift

- Some local and regional travel required

- Work Location: Kalkaska, MI (in person)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
