Solarus, a Central-Wisconsin based Internet, Phone, and TV provider, is seeking an experienced, customer-oriented, highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Sales team. This person will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by recommending appropriate products and services to new and existing customers and responding to customer inquires in a friendly and professional manner.
- Effectively manage incoming calls and walk-in customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Sell products and services by identifying customers' needs and make recommendations.
- Ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Accurately record customer interactions and process customer accounts.
- Meet personal/company sales targets and call handling quotas.
- Drive a successful customer experience by assisting customers within a diverse technology skillset.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
- Two years sales/customer service work experience required.
- Minimum Associates' degree in a related field preferred.
- Face to face and telephone customer contact experience preferred.
- Fosters a positive environment where they are viewed as approachable, accessible, and responsive to customers and peers.
- A clear and professional telephone speaking voice with appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Proven aptitude and ability to perform well under pressure.
- Proven ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proven ability to type 35+ words per minute.- Exhibit positive customer sales/upgrade/retention skills.
- Ability to work independently, but function as a team player.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Must be a self-starter and able to structure work in an unevenly-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft word, excel, and database programs is required.

- Exhibit ability to organize work efficiently and manage time under tight deadlines and requirements.
- Required to maintain quality, time, and production standards.
