Position Overview
As Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping Buildcorp Direct’s growth strategy, brand presence, and revenue generation. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader eager to build, train, and lead their own sales and marketing team within a startup environment. You will develop the strategies, processes, and team structure needed to drive success—making a lasting impact on the company’s future.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
•Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to strengthen Buildcorp Direct’s market presence.
•Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO, website optimization, email campaigns, and paid advertising.
•Lead social media engagement, growing Buildcorp’s online community and customer relationships.
•Create compelling content, promotions, and advertising materials to maximize customer interaction.
•Maintain a marketing activity calendar, ensuring timely execution and performance tracking.
•Continuously analyze marketing data and refine strategies for maximum effectiveness.
Sales Leadership & Active Involvement
•Build, hire, and train a high-performing sales team, shaping its structure and strategy.
•Actively engage in client interactions, negotiations, and deal closures, setting the tone for the team.
•Establish and execute targeted sales initiatives with a dynamic and results-driven approach.
•Generate and nurture new business opportunities, forging strong customer relationships.
•Provide market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and industry developments.
•Set ambitious yet achievable targets, ensuring vigorous top-line growth through personal and team efforts.
Startup Leadership & Business Development
•Implement scalable processes to support business growth and operational efficiency.
•Promote a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning, ensuring long-term success.
•Work closely with senior leadership to align sales and marketing strategies with company goals.
•Take ownership of building the department from the ground up, developing key systems and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•1-3 years of sales and marketing experience, ideally within e-commerce or construction-related industries.
•Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand strategy, and proactive sales execution.
•Hands-on experience in sales, with a focus on relationship-building and consultative selling.
•Proven ability to build and lead a team in a startup or growth-focused environment.
•Highly organized, with excellent time management and project execution skills.
•Entrepreneurial, enterprising, and eager to take ownership of team development and strategy.
Compensation & Benefits
•Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
