Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey

- Operate the POS system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts

- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities

- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness

- Manage inventory by performing stock checks and supporting restocking activities in the grocery store environment

- Apply effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers

- Support supervising staff with daily operations, including training new team members and overseeing sales activities

Experience

- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments

- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is a plus

- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively

- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations

- Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and professionally

- Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies

- Basic math skills for cashiering tasks such as making change and balancing registers
