Account Manager

H&K Perforating, LLC, a trusted leader in value-added perforated metal solutions for over 135 years, is seeking a talented and motivated Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, cultivate new business opportunities, and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for delivering exceptional service while achieving ambitious sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
•Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets
•Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
•Take ownership of your book of business within an assigned territory
•Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate quotes and high customer satisfaction
•Solicit vendor pricing as needed for quoting
•Communicate professionally and effectively with all stakeholders
Required Skills & Competencies:
•Sales experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication
•Highly organized and detail-oriented
•Collaborative, dependable, and goal-driven
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
•Proficient in math (including decimals, fractions, geometry/trigonometry)
•Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word
•Knowledge of the steel/metal industry a plus
Compensation:
Base salary plus commission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
