Sales Executive

Job description

Essential Duties:

- Initiate and engage in outbound sales activities, such as cold calling to sell Vulcan products and solutions to new business prospects that lead to new clients.

- Anticipate new clients needs and in collaboration as needed with sales and cross functional teams develops and presents solutions to prospective new clients.

- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams sales team to develop, sell, and close new business deals ensuring alignment with company growth targets.

-Deliver tailor made proposals to meet new client business needs and communicate our value proposition.

- Analyze sales activities to determine effectiveness and provide solutions as needed to meet company sales objectives.

- Use CRM software to track customer interactions, update information, and manage leads.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to effectively position products.

- Position Vulcan Spring a the market leader through trade show participation, customer presentations and other activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma / GED and 2+ years net new business sales experience

- Proven experience in inside sales or a related role and in growing a business.

- Excellent negotiation, consultative, and closing sales techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to effectively engage with customers over the phone.

- Familiarity with technology sales and technical products is a plus.

- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships.

- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
