Safety Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential hazards, conducting training sessions, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute health and safety plans and workplace examinations

- Prepare and implement policies to establish a culture of health and safety

- Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law

- Conduct site training, tracking, and reporting for each individual and subcontractor

- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims

- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures

Requirements

- Proven experience as a safety supervisor or similar role

- In depth knowledge of OSHA and MSHA procedures

- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics

- Proficient in MS Office

- Outstanding organizational and communication skills

- Working knowledge of safety management information systems

- Bachelor’s degree in safety management or relevant field

- Professional certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
