Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Safety Manager to take full ownership of our safety program. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and state safety standards while building a proactive safety culture. The Safety Manager will work closely with leadership, project managers, and field crews, maintaining a strong presence on job sites and being the first call when incidents occur.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the company’s safety program across construction and crushing operations

- Conduct site inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting (OSHA, MSHA, EPA)

- Deliver safety training and lead weekly safety meetings

- Investigate incidents, document findings, and develop corrective actions

- Partner with managers to integrate safety into all phases of projects

- Build employee engagement and accountability around safety

Qualifications

- GED or equivalent (safety certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA-30 preferred)

- Strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA standards and construction safety practices

- Effective communicator and trainer with leadership presence

- Organized, proactive, and able to respond quickly when incidents occur

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
