KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Serve as the local expert in health and safety.
•Maintain accurate records in compliance with safety regulations, standards, and company management systems.
•Conduct and support investigations into safety-related incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
•Advise leadership on regulatory compliance, industry best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
•Collaborate with external agencies, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
•Compile and analyze safety-related data trends to produce insightful reports for management.
•Support the development, review, and refinement of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
•Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive safety training for employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors.
•Assess and enhance the effectiveness of safety initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
•Coach on-site safety technicians to ensure alignment with company safety standards.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
•Industry Experience preferred in safety-related role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings
•Extensive knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with all levels of the organization.
•Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
•Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects effectively, and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
•Preferred experience in 5S methodology, continuous improvement processes, and ISO management systems.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree in safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
•Experience with ISO 45001, Integrated Management Systems, audits, and documentation.
