KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Serve as the local expert in health and safety.
•
Maintain accurate records in compliance with safety regulations, standards, and company management systems.
•
Conduct and support investigations into safety-related incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
•
Advise leadership on regulatory compliance, industry best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
•
Collaborate with external agencies, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
•
Compile and analyze safety-related data trends to produce insightful reports for management.
•
Support the development, review, and refinement of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
•
Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive safety training for employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors.
•
Assess and enhance the effectiveness of safety initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
•
Coach on-site safety technicians to ensure alignment with company safety standards.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
•
Industry Experience preferred in safety-related role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings
•
Extensive knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with all levels of the organization.
•
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
•
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects effectively, and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
•
Preferred experience in 5S methodology, continuous improvement processes, and ISO management systems.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
•
Bachelor's degree in safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
•
Experience with ISO 45001, Integrated Management Systems, audits, and documentation.
