- Develop, distribute, and implement the Project Site Specific Safety Plan.
- Manage and coordinate the overall Project Site Safety Program delivery process.
- Identification of the initial on-site or off-site initial treatment facility for immediate control of claim, maintain communication with this location.
- Implement Site Safety Orientation program for all new trades coming on site.
- Field presence – walking the site to look for safety issues vs. production / schedule.
- Maintain positive relationship with field personnel surrounding safety.
- Maintain relationships with all Trade Safety personnel, engage them regularly.
- Receive and consolidate safety performance reporting.
- Monitor safety performance and reporting for the project.
- Monitor / analyze accident information and safety performance statistics for action.
- Supervise safety program administration and audit the safety management process.
- Monitor safety training and certification program, verifying certification for certain specialties, and conducting periodic training where qualified.
- Monitor Return-to-Work program and support claims management process.
- Enforce safety rules and ensure subcontractors are holding their safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Promote and facilitate Safety Task Analysis process.
- Promote and facilitate Job Hazard Analysis process.
- Develop Emergency Evacuation Plan, ensure broad communication, and conduct drills.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- General competency utilizing Microsoft Suite and general computer applications a must.
- First Aid / CPR training experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the means and methods of construction management.
- Knowledge of specific trades and scopes of work.
- College degree in related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Construction Field Safety
- Ability and willingness to travel for out of state projects as needed
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- First Aid / CPR certification required.
- Additional specialty safety certifications preferred.
- Successful completion of company training and role-specific professional development coursework, within required timeframe (Required).
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
- May require periods of overnight travel.
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project demands.
- Normal office environment, but may also be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
- Frequent activity: Walking, Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.
- Occasional activity: Standing, Bending, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling, Climbing.
