As our Safety Manager, you will spearhead the promotion and enforcement of safety policies, ensure compliance, and support teams across various projects and locations. You’ll play a crucial role in building awareness, enhancing processes, and prioritizing safety in all our endeavors.

Superior Tank Co., Inc. (STCI) has been manufacturing and installing a complete line of bolted steel tanks and welded steel storage tanks for the potable water, wastewater, fire protection, rain harvesting and crude oil Industries since 1984.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Manage the health, safety and environmental policies, plans, programs, and procedures.
•Continually seek opportunities to improve our HSE performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting the results
•Establish and maintains department records and reports, for example: OSHA 300 log, training logs, SDS book, action plans, etc.
•Participate in management staff meetings and other relevant in-house and outside meetings.
•Conduct HSE required training in compliance with federal and state regulations
•Perform annual facility emergency evacuations drills
•Prepare and document safety meetings
•Perform and document stop-work actions as needed
•Prepare HSE performance reports.
•Conduct field audits and document resolution of unsafe acts or conditions
•Verify company's compliance with written HSE program and regulatory reporting documents
•Perform safety evaluations of employees
•Track and verify employee required trainings
•Perform a weekly “sampling” review of company JSA’s
•Participate in investigations and follow-up of incidents/accidents; prepare notifications/reports for communication of significant incidents to company project/functional management per company incident reporting procedures
•Communicate HSE expectations to personnel and third party contractors
•Administer the project sites drug and alcohol program
Desired Skills & Experience:
•Bachelor Degree Safety, Environmental or a related field is a plus
•Industry certifications are a plus (CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP, OSHA 500)
•Minimum 5 years experience in an HSE Advisory role with facilities experience
•Must be knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and experienced in EHS Management systems
•Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
•Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Written skills include the ability to write investigation reports and other correspondence. Verbal skills include the ability to speak to large groups of people making presentations, excellent telephone skills, and good interpersonal skills
•Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
•Must have a valid drivers licensee with a clean driving record
•Must be able to travel as needed

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
