Rough Clean Operator

Will be training on 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm) for 8 weeks with the option of staying on 1st Shift or moving to 2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm- most ideal)

JOB SUMMARY

The Rough Clean operator shall be responsible for knockout, Alloy Verification, water-blasting, cutoff, gate-grinding, sandblasting, and rough visual inspecting cast components. The operator will be evaluated periodically for productivity (good parts processed/hour) and quality, number of re-work returns. The facility greatly values cross-training and a flexible work force in terms of specific job responsibilities, while the operator’s main task shall be rough cleaning of castings, the operator should not be opposed to working in other areas such as finishing, wax, or mold preparation in foundry once provided with the appropriate instruction.
