Job Title: Dredge Operator

Hourly Pay: $22/hr depending on experience

Reports to: Superintendent

Position Summary:

The Dredge Operator position is responsible for operating dredging equipment to extract raw material (sand and gravel) from under water for use in production. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be eighteen years of age or older

· Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

· Must have a track-record of being a dependable employee

· Problem solving and trouble shooting skills

Essential Functions, Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

· Pre-employment drug screening

· Able to work outdoors in most weather conditions

· Able to work in a physically rigorous work environment. Position may involve walking, standing, sitting, bending, and climbing stairs. Job may require crouching, stooping, or crawling.

· Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs

· Able to climb steps/ladders

· Able to sit for hours

· Able to shovel material
