Robotics & Automation Engineer
Job Title: Robotics & Automation Engineer Reports To: Operations Manager

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Administer, and manage Robotics Technicians or UR Interns as necessary to achieve scheduled goals.
•Schedule work to Universal Robots in our Operational Departments which include but are not limited to Punching, Turret, Bending, Forming, Welding, Grinding, or Powder Coating.
•Design and implement end-arm tooling for selected engineering files to hold the work piece.
•Design and implement material handling tools, squaring fixtures, pallet, and box configurations (to maximize space utilization in the work cells), this is done within SolidWorks.
•Design safe working environments for employees and co-bots.
•Work with team members and integrators to drive project improvements to completion.
•Attending production meetings, as necessary.
•Attending operations meetings, weekly.
•Report setup, runtime, and utilization of Universal Robots, weekly.
•Review current documentation available and build upon it, to improve organizational knowledge and training.
•Follow 6S procedures (Safety, Sort, Set, Sweep, Standardize, Sustain)
•Attending company sponsored training.
•Follow and remain up to date with the latest robotics firmware, software, logic controls, 3-D printing technology, and industrial technology to leverage our talent, thus continually improving our operation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•Attend work per the agreed upon schedule.
•Be safe, punctual, productive, communicative, and take pride and quality in your work.
•Be able to safely lift as much as 25-50lbs, otherwise contact material handlers within the immediate area.
•Manage universal robots, their schedules and utilization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Training: Bachelor’s or Graduate Student
Experience: Cobotics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Technology
Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Solid works, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook .

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
