As a Retail Solar Sales Representative, you’ll represent our solar energy solutions in a retail or event setting. You’ll engage with walk-in customers, explain the benefits of switching to solar, and guide them through customized solutions that fit their energy needs. This role is ideal for motivated sales professionals who enjoy working face-to-face with customers in a high-traffic environment.
- Greet and engage with retail customers in-store or at partnered events.
- Educate customers on solar energy benefits and cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct preliminary energy assessments and schedule follow-up consultations.
- Work with the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Track leads, manage customer interactions, and update CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Stay knowledgeable on solar products, financing options, and industry updates.
- Retail sales or customer-facing sales experience (solar/energy experience a plus).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Goal-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Multilingual/bilingual skills are a plus.
- Pay Range: $55,000 – $250,000 per year (uncapped commission potential).
- Compensation Structure: 1099 contract, commission pay, bonus opportunities.
- Schedule Options: 4-hour or 8-hour shifts, flexible scheduling including day, evening, and weekend availability.
