Retail Sales Associate

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.

- Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.

- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items.

- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising techniques.

- Stock shelves and ensure that products are adequately replenished throughout the day.

- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

- Assist in training new employees by sharing knowledge of retail practices and store policies.

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.

- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

Pay: $40,210.22 - $80,000.00 per year
