Conveyor Components Company currently has an opening for a Sales Associate in our Michigan Office. This position is responsible for is responsible for front line customer engagement to drive sales of CCC products within the framework of the strategic goals for sales growth. Basic functions, essential functions, and specific duties:
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and/or interests.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Consult with customers after sales to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients.
- Develop, Submit, and execute travel plans for customer visits and other outside travel to include trade shows.
- Respond to customer requests, i.e.: order status and expediting, order confirmation and processing.
- Provide input to marketing team for improvements in marketing information to increase sales.
- Travel to customer locations to provide additional sales information or understand application/project requirements, provide training, or strengthen customer relationship through face to face engagement.
- Travel to and participate in tradeshows.
- High School Diploma required.
- 2-year college degree or equivalent experience desired.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of product.
- Computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
- Sales skills.
- Ability to multitask.
