Le ou la responsable (régional(e) des ventes favorise de manière proactive les ventes sur le marché commercial et industriel, en développant les activités nouvelles et existantes. Le ou la responsable gère une équipe régionale de représentants commerciaux qui atteint ses objectifs en termes de croissance du volume (ventes équilibrées), de qualité des offres et de satisfaction client, grâce à d'excellentes relations avec les clients externes et internes et à une part croissante dans la zone régionale sous sa responsabilité.

Votre impact

Participer aux discussions sur la stratégie commerciale pour la région assignée et convenir d'objectifs à court et à long terme, en intégrant des objectifs de croissance appropriés.
Atteindre les objectifs de vente grâce à une gestion proactive des organisations de représentants commerciaux, à l'analyse du marché et à la gestion des performances des représentants.
Rechercher sans relâche ce que nos clients perçoivent comme de la valeur afin d'aider nos entreprises à aligner leur proposition de valeur sur les critères d'achat des clients.
Mettre en œuvre des mesures pour réaliser des ventes de produits, de systèmes et de services dans les régions assignées pour le segment C&I. Veiller également à ce que les objectifs de vente soient atteints ou dépassés.
Veiller à ce que les représentants des fabricants dans la région opèrent en conformité avec les processus commerciaux, les normes et les valeurs fondamentales d'Hitachi Energy. Gérer de manière proactive les performances et évaluer en permanence le réseau de représentants afin de garantir une valeur optimale pour Hitachi Energy.
Se tenir informé du paysage concurrentiel dans la région.
Effectuer des examens périodiques et proposer des plans de redressement en cas de risque de baisse des commandes.
Expérience dans la gestion de la performance des représentants du fabricant, y compris la mesure des performances par rapport aux indicateurs clés de performance établis et la mise en place d'un réseau de représentants approprié.
Responsable des comptes de vente/région de 10 millions de dollars canadiens ou plus.
Expérience dans la vente de matériel électrique commercial et industriel .
Compréhension et expérience du portefeuille de produits et services du segment C&I d'Hitachi Energy.


Votre expérience

Baccalauréat en ingénierie, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine technique / diplôme supérieur souhaitable ; une expérience équivalente à un diplôme sera prise en compte.
Bilinguisme souhaité : Anglais requis, français souhaité.
Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de la vente et expérience professionnelle avec des représentants commerciaux/fabricants.
Aptitude à la vente technique indispensable.
Expérience en gestion de comptes souhaitée.
Expérience de salesforce.com.

The Opportunity

The Regional Sales Manager proactively drives sales in the commercial and industrial market, increasing new and existing business. They will manage a regional sales team of Manufacturer’s Representatives that meets its volume growth (balanced selling), bid quality, and customer satisfaction objectives, through excellent external and internal customer relations and an increasing share in the regional area of responsibility.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Participates in the sales strategy discussions for assigned region and agrees to short and long-term goals, incorporate growth targets as appropriate.
Achieves sales targets through proactive management of Sales Rep organizations, market analysis and performance management of Reps.
Relentless pursuit of determining where our customers perceive value to assist our Businesses in aligning their value proposition with the Customers buying criteria.
Implement measures to achieve sales of products, systems and services in the assigned regions for the C&I segment. Also ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Ensures Manufacturer’s Representatives in the region operate in alignment with Hitachi Energy’s business processes, standards and core values. Proactively manages the performance and continually assesses the Rep network to ensure ultimate value to Hitachi Energy.
Maintains awareness of competitive landscape in the region.
Conducts periodic reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
Experience in performance managing manufacturer’s reps including measurement of performance against established KPI’s and ensuring the appropriate network of representatives
Responsible for sales accounts/region of $10 MCAD or higher
Experience in commercial and industrial electrical sales
Understanding and experience with the portfolio of products and services in the Hitachi Energy C&I segment


Your background

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration or technical field / advanced degree desirable; Equitable experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Bi-lingual preferred. English required, French desired
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in sales and experience working with sales/manufacturer’s representatives
Technical selling aptitude is a must
Account Management experience preferred
Experience with salesforce.com
