Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to develop and support technical sales sales for all Aerzen products in BC. Be a resource and point of contact for Aerzen’s customers and representatives in western Canada, with a primary focus on British Colombia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Build strong customer relationships and develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their needs and requirements
•Present differentiating technologies, products, and support services to expand existing customers, and finding new customers
•Provide expert level of regional needs to offer support from Aerzen in both municipal and industrial applications
•Use specific knowledge about design of Aerzen technologies and related applications to further strengthen penetration into, and development of, new business
•Be a resource and point of contact for local customers by providing technical knowledge, expertise and documentation regarding Aerzen equipment and systems.
•Use strong project and account management experience to satisfy customer requirements.
•Interact professionally with Aerzen project management, engineering and customer support personnel regarding specific equipment, customers, and projects.
•Understand and address all aspects of the customer's technical needs, internal equipment possibilities, stakeholder concerns as well as equipment, application, and project risks
•Provide the best possible “Customer Value + Aerzen Solution” that is safe, efficient, reliable, and profitable for the client as well as for Aerzen; develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
•Professionally represent Aerzen to customers and vendors and at local trade shows
•Identify new product opportunities and develop sales strategies
•Provide technical selling support and product applications support
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
•Maintain awareness of workplace safety procedures and promote safe practices during interactions at client sites.
•Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting customer facilities or hazardous environments.
•Report any observed health and safety risks at customer locations to your immediate supervisor.
•Participate in mandatory safety training programs and adhere to the company's safety policies.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
•Post-Secondary Degree (four-year college or technical/trade school) Recommended
•Technical field of study preferred
•Minimum of 5 years of experience with the sales of industrial equipment
•Specific experience with air compression technologies is a plus.
•Experience in industrial water treatment or food production is a benefit.
Language Proficiency:
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Professional proficiency in French (written and spoken) is additionally required only* for roles located in Eastern Canada. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in business and technical contexts.
Technical Skills:
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Extensive experience with ERP systems (Business Central, SAP preferred).
•Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana) is a plus.

Work Environment
•Professional office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas where blowers, compressors, and vacuum pumps are assembled and tested.
•Remote work possible, with details to be discussed with the General Manager
Physical Requirements
•Ability to work in an office environment or a suitable remote work environment and occasionally visit manufacturing areas.
•Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, high-visibility vest).
•Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%), as required.
