A Resource Manager III (RM III) provides support to the Marine Corps Energy Program by overseeing installation progress and coordinating reach back support. The RM III provides energy program technical expertise, surge support, project development guidance, best practices and lessons learned, coordination between installations within the western region for sharing resources. The successful RM III can:
· Provide technical and analytical support for energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, including relevant applications.
· Possess an understanding of US Marine Corps Installation Energy and Water Plans (IESP).
· Have knowledge of state or federal programs and incentives that facilitate project development.
· Offer technical and analytical support to identify and evaluate project opportunities, and assist in the development of projects under ERCIP, UESCs, ESPCs, and/or PPAs.
· Provide support in developing requirements, implementing, and expanding micro-grids, as well as related metering and control systems.
· Assist in reviewing investment-grade audits, conducting life-cycle cost analyses (LCCA), and providing ongoing support throughout the duration of ESPCs, UESCs, and PPAs.
· Monitor and evaluate energy and water consumption and cost data.
· Conduct building and equipment analysis using data logging devices to identify performance anomalies.
· Identify low-cost or no-cost energy efficiency opportunities through field investigations and recommend corrective measures.
· Support the development and implementation of strategic communication campaigns related to energy and water conservation.
Shall be U. S. citizens and shall be able to pass a National Agency Check or SF-85P (NACI).
Shall possess at least one of the following combinations of educational and related experience requirements:
· 5-years of experience with facility operations (mechanical and/or electrical systems), and
· Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE) license
