Overview: Association for Energy Affordability (AEA) is a rapidly growing nonprofit energy services and training organization dedicated to achieving energy efficiency in buildings to foster and maintain affordable and healthy housing and communities. Energy consulting services are completed through AEA’s participation in a variety of federal, state, and local energy efficiency initiatives. Position Summary: AEA West is seeking a Program Associate to join our tight-knit, talented team of “Energy Geeks”. The candidate must be passionate about energy efficiency and green building, highly organized, detail-oriented and be able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
The Program Associate will support the senior staff in the day-to-day operations and process flow of programs directed at providing load management to single and multifamily buildings. They will support program implementation, oversee and coordinate with program partners and subcontractors, analyze program and pilot data, coordinate with external parties, conduct outreach and intake. They will be expected to review the reported data for accuracy as well as ensure that the program database is up to date.
The Program Associate may engage in customer support (including water heater operations troubleshooting), project scheduling, marketing and outreach, data analysis, report production, special program projects/ pilots, and database management as needed to deliver high quality programs. They are expected to be a self-starter, an independent problem solver, and a strong team-player with a customer-service orientation.
