Our company specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of residential solar systems, and we are looking for an experienced Residential Solar Electrician to join our team.

Job Overview:

As a Residential Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar electric systems in residential homes. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, solar power technology, and safety regulations. You’ll work directly with our clients to ensure seamless, high-quality solar installations while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Install, wire, and commission solar electric systems on residential properties.

•

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to solar installations.

•

Work closely with installation team members to complete installations on time and within safety protocols.

•

Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national codes and regulations.

•

Perform system inspections and offer maintenance solutions to ensure ongoing system efficiency.

•

Provide high-level customer service, answering homeowner questions and explaining the installation process.

Qualifications:

•

At least 1 year of experience in solar electric system installation.

•

In-depth knowledge of residential electrical systems and solar energy technologies.

•

Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.

•

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

•

Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

•

Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

•

OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willing to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications:

•

NABCEP certification (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners).

•

Experience working with grid-tied and off-grid solar systems.

Pay: $28.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
