Based on experience this position has the potential to be a Senior level
Assist management and stakeholders in preparation of responses to state and federal regulatory agencies regarding audits, and other regulatory requests.
Develop, organize, and analyze compliance data for internal and external reporting.
Coordinate, schedule, and participate in preparing responses to state regulatory agency findings, and Notifications of Probable Violations. Advise Operations and Engineering leadership of specified timelines for state regulatory agency findings.
Review pipeline safety rules established by state and federal regulations pertaining to the DOT. Review and communicate to Operations any operational inquiries they may have concerning procedures and practices about compliance with state, federal, and company requirements.
Support management on inquiries concerning documentation related to technical compliance audits and inspections. Require utilization of corporate enterprise applications and execution of reporting, trending, and special queries.
Participate in emergency mock drills that are conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of emergency response plans as requested.
Monitor response timelines and evaluate report data that is submitted to state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Analyze and correct leak data to support corporate strategies to identify and reduce risk of pipeline assets.
Support rate case filing by fulfilling data requests.
Submit documentation for state pipeline agency permits and annual filings.
Analyze and develop metrics and data entered into our work management systems (Maximo, Banner, etc.).
Participate in and represent ONE Gas in the Southern Gas Association (SGA), American Gas Association (AGA), and Railroad Commission (RRC) conferences in assigned areas as needed by position.
Research, advise, assess, and communicate information and recommendations related to (as specified by position):
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Science, Engineering or an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience.
Experience in multiple phases of distribution, transmission, and administrative responsibilities.
Working knowledge of piping standards and design along with applicable operations standards
Application of math and algebraic formulas and statistics.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software is preferred:
Experience and training including but not limited to:
Experience identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing problems or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action/response.
Experience reading and interpreting DOT regulations, Parts 191 and 192; Pipeline Safety Rules; Customer Service Field Manual; EPA regulations; and various other technical documents relative to governmental rules and regulations.
Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals.
Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out-of-doors.
Able to communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
