Responsibilities Job Purpose The Regulatory Compliance Analyst Role Will Support The Following

- Preparation, timely submission, and tracking of routine regulatory reports required by regulatory agencies overseeing Pattern’s regulated assets and affiliates.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve current processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

- Prepare reports and presentation materials on Pattern’s Regulatory Compliance activities for internal and external business partners.

- Provide administrative and project management support to the Regulatory Compliance team.

- Proactively engage in research related to current and emerging regulatory obligations to analyze and assess potential impacts to Pattern.

- Identify opportunities and develop proposals to enhance processes and implement regulatory requirements efficiently.

- Support the administration and maintenance of internal systems used to track and report regulatory obligations.


Major Accountabilities


- Regulatory Reporting Support

- Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of routine regulatory reports for agencies including, but not limited to, DOE, EIA, FERC, ISO/RTOs, PUCs, and other applicable federal, state, and local authorities.

- Maintain filing calendars, documentation, and internal tracking tools to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.


- FERC Standards of Conduct (SOC) Support

- Maintain and update SOC-related resources, including documentation, organizational charts, and internal or external websites.

- Support coordination across Pattern teams related to SOC training completion, tracking, and compliance requirements.

- Assist with coordination and tracking of Marketing Function Employees (MFEs) and Transmission Function Employees (TFEs) updates.

- Support SOC ongoing compliance.


- Administrative Support

- Provide administrative and operational support to the Regulatory Compliance team, including document management, and internal communications.

- Support organization and maintenance of compliance records, shared folders, and internal resources.


- Regulatory Compliance Project Support

- Support ongoing Regulatory Compliance projects, initiatives, and compliance-related efforts.

- Provide project management support to ensure regulatory initiatives and obligations are executed accurately and on schedule.

- Coordinate activities across internal and external stakeholders, maintain documentation, and track follow-up actions associated with regulatory initiatives.


- Special Initiatives and Process Development

- Support active initiatives such as Digital Certificates transitions, EQR refiling projects, regulatory registrations, and ad hoc compliance efforts.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of manuals, procedures, and reference materials for key regulatory and compliance processes.


- Research, analysis and Procedures development

- Proactively engage in research related to current and emerging regulatory obligations to analyze and assess potential impacts to Pattern.

- Identify opportunities and develop proposals to enhance processes and implement regulatory requirements efficiently.

- Develop policies, procedures and manuals, as needed.


Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as engineering, economics, finance or computer science required.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate or professional office environment.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the energy industry.

- Advanced organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Required proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically in Excel and Power Point.

- Advanced research and writing skills.

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

- Preferred experience preparing and submitting reports to the EIA and FERC (i.e. EQR, EIA923)

The expected starting pay range for this role is $40 - $50/HR USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
