To help facilitate our expanding business, RMS Energy is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. Our Regional Sales Manager will develop key accounts and contacts, identify customer needs, and create valuable solutions to ensure long-term relationships are cultivated and new business is identified.

Preferred Locations: Kentucky, Florida, Pennsylvania or nearby locations.

Responsibilities:

Manage sales performance of an assigned region in the U.S.
Create and cultivate an annual sales plan pertaining to the region, with changes on a quarterly basis to reflect revised objectives.
Generate designed number of qualified quotes on a regular basis.
Complete regular outbound sales calls to new business prospects and existing customers to establish long-term trust and relationships, and to identify future business opportunities.
Maintain rapport with customers and prospects and establish strong communication lines to ensure confidence is built and maintained.
Follow up with customers following job completions to gauge satisfaction and determine any necessary next steps.
Support the RMS Energy brand by promoting the services and capability of the company throughout the industry.
Participate actively in assigned trade shows and approved professional societies.
Develop proposals and quotations for on-site projects based on RFPs or RFIs, or direct customer requests, including cost and time estimates, scopes of work, and other essential information.
Create regular sales reports to highlight sales activities, future efforts, revenue forecasts and revised sales plans.
Utilize CRM (Zoho) as the official internal customer record.
Protect RMS Energy through adherence to company confidentiality requirement.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, technical, or business field preferred or additional years of experience in related field.
5+ years business-to-business successful sales experience.
3+ years of sales experience in energy industry or related construction field.


Other Requirements:

Valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests, and a pre-employment criminal background check.
Must be willing and able to travel frequently (minimum X%), including daily drives to customer job sites and periodic overnight stays; flexible to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.

Working Conditions:

This job requires the ability to work extended hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as needed. Work may be conducted outdoors in all weather conditions, near low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment and heavy machinery, in areas with elevations in excess of 100 feet, and confined spaces adhering to strict safety protocols. Exposure to loud noises from machinery is common, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This job involves risk of electrical shock. This job requires frequent travel between RMS facilities and customer sites. This role also requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and performing tasks that demand visual acuity for reading and typing.

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift and carry office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds, the capability to move within the office to access files, office machinery, and meeting rooms, and fine motor skills for keyboard use. Proficiency in speaking, hearing, reading, and typing in English is essential for effective communication and documentation. The position demands physical mobility to navigate uneven surfaces. Good vision, including color vision and depth perception, and the ability to hear alarms and communications in noisy environments are essential.
