Job Summary:
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle from initial intake through onboarding. This includes developing sourcing strategies, screening and interviewing candidates, managing offers, and coordinating onboarding steps. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and HR to ensure a high-quality candidate experience and to meet organizational workforce needs efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and proficient with recruiting tools such as SharePoint, Excel, and applicant tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, target candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
•Develop customized sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, resume databases, and referrals
•Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
•Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and facilitate feedback discussions
•Coordinate interview logistics, including virtual and in-person interviews or testing, with hiring managers and internal team members
•Manage candidate communications throughout the process, ensuring timely updates and a professional experience
•Draft and extend offers, coordinate offer approvals, and ensure proper documentation is in place
•Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition from offer to start date
•Maintain candidate data and recruiting documents in SharePoint and the ATS (e.g., JazzHR)
•Use Excel to manage trackers and reports related to candidate pipelines, onboarding progress, and recruiting metrics
•Track recruitment metrics in Excel and/or ATS and provide regular reports on hiring activity
•Ensure all recruiting processes follow company policy and employment law
•Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies for union and non-union positions
Qualifications:
•2+ years of full-cycle recruiting, staffing, or HR support experience
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint required
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
•Ability to manage multiple open roles and maintain attention to detail
•High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Preferred Skills:
•Experience recruiting in manufacturing, skilled trades, or industrial environments
•Familiarity with JazzHR, WorkBright, or similar platforms
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
•Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through with candidates and hiring teams
