- Pay: $17/hr based on experience and skills

- Schedule: 1st Shift | Mon-Fri | 7am-3:30pm

- Location: East Chicago, IN

What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Receiving Clerk, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll handle critical paperwork for incoming waste shipments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and organized tracking. This role is a strong fit for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy structured work, staying organized, and supporting a safety‑driven environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Review incoming manifest paperwork for accuracy.

- Enter manifest data into computer systems, verifying DOT descriptions and RCRA hazardous waste codes.

- Create labels for waste containers using computer‑based tracking tools.

- Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve discrepancies.

- Receive bulk loads and prepare rejection manifests or related paperwork when needed.

- Maintain organized digital and physical waste shipment files.

- Mail TSDF‑signed waste manifests back to generators.

- Scan and upload billing documents and shipment records to the EPA/E‑Manifest system.

- Upload shipment information into internal management systems.

- Sign manifest paperwork to support truck releases and distribute copies appropriately.

- Other duties as assigned.
