R&D Electrical Engineer (Onsite: Duncan, OK)

The R&D Electrical Engineer under broad direction, responsible for leading and executing complex electronic and control system projects with engineers from multiple disciplines.

- Pay Rate: $90.00/hour, depending on experience.

- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Responsibilities:

- Serves as a technical expert by coaching and developing other employees.

- Implements new technologies in design of electronic systems.

- Establishes best practices that incorporate Reliability, Health, Safety, and Environment concepts to guide others in analysis and design.

- Ensures proper selection of empirical and analytical methods used in design verification.

- Evaluates project risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.

- Advises others in application of appropriate industry standards.

- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-disciplinary process improvement teams.

- Significantly contributes to the Company's Intellectual Property portfolio by delivering innovative and commercially successful solutions.

- May be recognized as an authority both inside and outside of the company for providing advisory and consulting work for the organization.

- Represents the Company in external professional societies and conferences.

Qualifications:

- Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline and 10 years of related experience.

- Completion of a masters or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
