Quarry Laborer/Equipment Operator

B.G. Hoadley Quarries Inc. is a family owned and operated dimensional limestone company that has been around since 1927. We are currently looking for quarry laborers and or heavy equipment operators with a strong work ethic. No previous quarry experience is required, but definitely a plus. Applicants must have some sort of operator experience and or mechanical background. The applicant must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather. Since we are a smaller company, everyone on the quarry crew must be willing and able to learn/perform all facets of the quarrying process. Equipment operators will not solely be operating a piece of equipment the entire shift. You may be running a large wheel loader or excavator in the morning and drilling blocks in production cuts with an air drill in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to learn multiple different job functions and carve out your spot in a long standing tradition. The physicality/pace of work is very similar to farming work and changes each day depending on what step of the quarrying process we are currently in. Requirements:

- Must be 18 years or older

- Be able to reliably show up on time

- Must exhibit a strong work ethic and be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Willing to work in adverse weather conditions

- Minor maintenance/equipment knowledge

- Able to work as a team player and take the initiative to figure out the next step

- Must follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA.

Job Type: Full-time
