Quarry Groundman Liberty / McMinnville Areas

Rogers Group is seeking a Groundman/Laborer for our quarry operation located in Liberty and McMinnville Quarries located in Tennessee.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assisting with plant clean up and operations

- Being trained in various other entry level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times

- Report equipment problems and identify them to management

- Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines

- Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable

- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management

- Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer

- Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable

- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

- Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment

- Ability to maintain safe working conditions

- The self-motivated individual must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision

- Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other

- duties as assigned

- Ability to learn quickly

- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime

- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
