Summit Ridge Energy is seeking a Quality Tech to support the Company’s EPC and Operations overall execution capabilities in several core markets but will be primarily focused in Illinois where the Company has developed a large portfolio of ground-mount solar projects, both behind the meter and community solar.
The Quality tech is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of solar energy systems through inspections. This role involves evaluating the system component installation procedures to ensure compliance with Summit Ridge’s specifications and industry standards.
Key responsibilities include conducting quality assurance inspections, documenting findings, and collaborating with the Summit Ridge Energy Construction Management team to address quality issues. The Quality Tech will also assist in developing quality control processes and participate in training sessions to promote best practices.

This job operates both in a field-type environment understanding of Safety Culture on a project site is paramount. Candidate will also be expected to work in a professional office setting with local travel to a job site to conduct inspections. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, IPAD, photocopiers, scanners, printers, teleconferencing software, documents projection, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
