Quality Systems Coordinator

Overview

Trillium Metal Stampings is looking for someone with experience in Manufacturing in a Quality role on a part-time, temporary basis.

Duties

- Maintain documented quality system in compliance with the IATF 16949 Quality Standard

- Review the effectiveness of the quality system and report to Senior Management on all matters pertaining to quality as a basis for improvement.

- Participate as a member of the APQP team and champion continuous improvement efforts.

- Develop responses and lead investigation into 8D Corrective Actions.

- Lead external IATF certification audits.

- Able to use and input IMDS submissions.

- Assist in PPAP and statistical studies and submissions as directed.

- Track and report: total failure cost, external scrap cost, internal audits, customer scorecard reviews, customer initiated corrective actions and PPM auto.

- Conduct internal shop-floor audits.

- Review and update internal documents and processes to reflect changes to the IATF standards/updates.

Requirements

- Experience in manufacturing.

- 5 years + experience in a quality role directly dealing with the Quality Management System and IATF requirements.

- Quality Assurance or related College Diploma.

- Fully understand the requirements of IATF 16949 for Automotive Quality Management Systems.

- Ability to communicate well with customers, suppliers and employees.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
