Quality Inspector

Job Summary Responsible for inspecting parts and detecting dimensional and visual abnormalities using Industry standards while adhering to AS9100:16 principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Confirms quality using hand held Measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gage, gage blocks, Trimos height gages, etc )

- Confirms quality using Programmable measuring equipment (CMM)

- Understands tolerances and which resolution gages to use to gather accurate results

- Interprets and understands blueprints and GD&T callouts

- Perform First piece inspections

- Good communication skills (written and verbal)

- Understand how to retrieve prints. Fcd forms & inspection checklist

- Records labor on Hour by Hour sheets, KPI boards or other assigned places

- Follows all work shop & safety rules

- Performs other dutries as assigned.Education

Professional Experience/Qualifications

- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2- 3 years quality/inspection background
