Work Schedule:

•

40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.

•

Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pm.

•

Fridays as needed.

General Description of Duties:

•

Interpret drawings

•

Perform in process and final inspections

•

Complete inspection checklist and accurately record data

•

Electronically file records

•

Upload inspection records to customers

•

Review quality deviations with quality engineer, customer support, Quality Supervisor and/or Plant Manager

Requirements:

Qualifications/Physical Demands:

•

Experience interpreting drawings

•

Knowledge of manufacturing inspection procedures

•

Knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing; drawing interpretation

•

Ability to use micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, height gages, snap gages, gage blocks and pins

•

Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching

•

Constant standing and walking

•

Occasional talking and hearing

•

Frequent use of hands and arms to reach

•

Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

•

Ability to see up close and have accurate depth perception

Work Environment:

The employee is regularly working near moving mechanical parts
