is looking for a detail-oriented
Quality Inspector
to help ensure that every product we receive and ship meets our high standards of quality. In this essential role, you’ll support production teams, verify compliance with specifications, and drive continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Testing
•Inspect in-process and finished goods to confirm compliance with specifications
•Conduct visual checks and use measurement tools (e.g., tape measures, micrometers)
•Test welds using a cup test machine following detailed instructions
•Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards
•Monitor and verify MFL and SOS settings daily
•Read blueprints and technical instructions to determine quality criteria
Documentation & Reporting
•Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and reports
•Submit quality issue reports to production and quality teams
•Review operator logs and report discrepancies to the Shift Leader
•Tag and record non-conforming products
•Stop shipments or production when quality standards are not met
Equipment & Safety
•Ensure measuring equipment is in working order; report or replace faulty tools
•Follow all safety standards and legal compliance requirements
•Support quality systems by performing periodic audits or reviews as needed
Team Collaboration & Flexibility
•Work on any production line as needed; rotate lines quarterly
•Train other team members on quality procedures when assigned
•Authorized to shut down machines if defects are found
•Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
•High school diploma or equivalent (required)
•1–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
•Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
•Familiarity with measurement tools like tape measures and micrometers (preferred)
•Ability to read blueprints and technical documents (preferred)
•Successful completion of a
background check
and
drug screen
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position involves working in a warehouse with frequent exposure to equipment and varying environmental conditions. Applicants must be able to:
•Reliably wear all required PPE.
•Walk or stand for extended periods, often walking 2-4 miles throughout their shift
•Lift up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, push, and pull materials regularly
•Work in an environment with moderate noise, exposure to dust, and temperature fluctuations
Schedule & Pay
8-hour shift, Day Shift
$16.00-16.25 per hour
40 hours per week
