We service the OEM market including agricultural, mining, and other industries. Our in-house processes include forgings, hot / cold stampings and weldments.

Responsibilities:
•Inspection of raw materials, purchased parts, in-process and/or finished goods in accordance with Engineering and/or customer drawings and specifications.
•Prepare inspection reports, NCR/CAR reports either on computer or manually, as required.
•Operate testing equipment in lab to determine if product meets requirements.
•Maintain system of calibration for measuring instruments and gauges.
•Provide technical support to Engineering for failure analysis, testing and prototype development.
•Check quality of work of small custom structural fabrication team.
•Interpret and understand applicable Engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
•At receiving inspection, maintain the established inspection procedures when examining manufactured and purchased components.
•Ability to lift & test parts up to 70lbs with combination of climbing on to machine.
•Other duties as assigned by the Company.
Knowledge and Experience:
•2-5 years of quality assurance, and quality inspection experience manufacturing.
•Ability to interpret and understand applicable Engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
•Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
•Able to use measuring instruments and gauges and have knowledge of calibration systems.
•Good mechanical aptitude to learn laboratory testing equipment as needed.
•Working knowledge of manufacturing processes including forging, heat treating, machining and assembly considered an asset.
•Familiar with finishing processes including galvanizing, painting and coatings.
•Understand the principles and adherence of the Quality Management system under IS0 9001.
•Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision is required.
•Self-starter and self-motivation is essential.
•Conscientious about workplace health and safety.
This position requires shift rotations determined by operational needs. The shift schedules are as follows but may change at any time due to operational needs:
•Day shift 7:00 am -3:30 pm
•Afternoon shift 2:30 pm -11:00 pm
•Split shift on rotation 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
