What You'll Do

As our Quality Inspection Team Lead, you'll be ensuring quality standards while leading a collaborative team environment. Your key responsibilities include:

Quality Leadership & Inspection

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to quality standards

- Create and maintain inspection documentation and check sheets

- Ensure non-conforming products never reach customers through proper disposition processes

Team Coordination & Material Flow

- Coordinate material handling, packaging, shipping, and receiving operations

- Facilitate smooth movement of work-in-process and finished goods inventory

- Support routing operations across inspection, packaging, machining, and storage areas

- Manage outside service coordination for plating and heat treating suppliers

Process Improvement & Safety

- Foster a team environment focused on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement

- Lead and participate in problem-solving and process development initiatives

- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures

- Support team-building activities and regular team meetings

Systems & Equipment Operation

- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently

- Process accurate inventory transactions using computer systems and RF scanners

- Optimize storage and retrieval systems for maximum efficiency

- Support cross-training and flexible coverage as needed

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Commitment to safety and environmental procedures

Preferred Experience:

- 1-2 years in industrial or service industry (comprehensive training provided)

- Experience with quality inspection processes

- Team leadership or supervisory experience
