- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a PE certification

- At least 6 years of directly related experience

- Possess a strong preference for nuclear quality assurance background

- Advanced knowledge of related quality assurance standards, techniques, and criteria

- Adanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques, and criteria

- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and convey complex technical data

- Well-developed leadership skills

- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships at all levels

- Strong problem identification and resolution skills

- Strong organizational skills

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Quality Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

- Defining the technical strategy for the qualification of new or existing products or processes, in cooperation with the component owners and fuel purchasing.

- Organizing product and process qualifications.

- Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the technical file, customers and authorities for qualifications.

- Intervening, when necessary, with suppliers to prepare or accompany qualifications, carry out technical surveys or accompany on-site customer representatives.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $106,000 - $144,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
