We are seeking an Entry Level Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and improving the ways in which we measure, document and and complete inspections of all incoming and out going parts. This is a hands on role where the candidate will be completing the physical measuring themselves and will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured by the company meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with regulatory requirements. The Quality Technician will work closely with both production and engineering staff to identify and resolve quality issues, and will perform inspections and tests to ensure that products meet established specifications.
· Perform inspections and tests on products at various stages of the production process, including incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
·Integrate new visual CMM inspection equipment into our processes.
. Document inspection and test results, and maintain records of quality data.
· Identify and communicate quality issues to production staff, and work with them to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
· Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues, and recommend corrective actions.
· Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and comply with regulatory requirements.
· Bachelors degree, or anyone with an associates degree or less will be required to have Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of quality control techniques and tools, including statistical process control, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
· Familiarity with ISO 9001, TS 16949, or other quality management systems.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Familiarity with plastic injection molding processes is a plus.
