As part of the Continuous Improvement segment within the plant’s Quality Organization, the Quality Document Control Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing both internal and external quality processes to maintain the best customer experience. The Quality Document Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing, validating, maintaining and managing all production documents within the organization. This role ensures that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and meet quality and compliance standards. The specialist will also proctor periodic employee skill qualification exams.
- This is a full-time, onsite position based at our VAM USA facility in Houston, TX.
- Final Acceptance / Document Review of Production Order Packets
o Buck-on graphs, run logs, and drift report
- Coordinate and conduct Third Party Inspector (TPI) document reviews
- Create Certificates of Conformance (COC)
- Record, Scan, and control documentation of required training for each employee.
- Prepare, as required, and control all revisions to VAM-USA Quality Management System (QMS) documents.
- Control and update all files related to QMS and subcontractor information.
- Support subcontractors with applicable procedures, instructions and process documents.
- Control subcontractor capability informational documents.
- Interface with Subcontractors and in-house personnel on clarification of requirements.
- Maintain and update subcontractor job status dashboards.
· Proctor training and competence exams. · Maintain training database records for each employee. General · Follow all company policies, practices, and regulations, including Quality and Safety. · Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in OCTG field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to read, write and speak well in English and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.

Physical & Visual Requirements
Physical Demands- Sedentary Work: involves sitting most of the time but may also include some standing or walking. These positions require lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally carrying light objects.
