The Quality Document Control Clerk ensures all quality documentation complies with customer requirements, internal procedures, and aerospace industry standards.
· Collects data for FAIRs, in process inspections, and final inspections per AS9102 and customers’ requirements
· Review manufacturing and inspection documentation for accuracy and completeness
· Maintain quality records, certifications, and traceability documentation
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to gather necessary data
· Support internal and external audits by organizing and providing required documentation
· Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements
· Reviews contracts and validates data per print
· Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of documents, including correspondence, contracts, technical documents, manuals, and other official paperwork
· 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or documentation within aerospace or a similar regulated industry
· Proficient in AS9102 standards and FAIR preparation
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation control
· Familiarity with aerospace specifications and manufacturing processes
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and inspection software (e.g., Net-Inspect, CMM reports)

Minimum requirements are: certificate of completion from an accredited college in business, liberal arts, or science; 2 years experience in aerospace production; ability to read drawings. Knowledge and competence of AS9100 and Nadcap audits.
Working knowledge of ERPs, email, Discus, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to gather information to write manuals and working instruction.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Gather and formulate metrics and data to present data effectively.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
