Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage documents and records efficiently. This role involves working with various software applications to create, edit, and maintain documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as proficiency in both English and French is a plus.
- Create, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Manage records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Utilize SharePoint for document storage and collaboration.
- Conduct analysis of documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries related to documentation processes.
- Assist in project management tasks using Microsoft Project to track progress and deadlines.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
- Collaborate with team members to develop presentations that effectively communicate information.
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff in best practices for document management.
- Engage in procurement processes as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) is required.
- Strong computer skills with experience in databases and records management systems.
- Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for creating clear and concise documentation.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Previous administrative experience is highly desirable.
