About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized, independent, and thoughtful Document Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, can manage multiple priorities with ease, and brings a problem-solving mindset to everything they do.
As a Document Specialist, you will be shaping how we communicate across the organization. From crafting clear, consistent Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal policies to producing engaging company updates, you’ll help shape the way information is shared across departments.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and Senior Management to maintain alignment across the organization, support knowledge sharing, and improve our overall documentation practices. This is a key role with a direct impact on employee experience, operational efficiency, and organizational clarity.
- This role can be based out of any of our locations across Canada, subject to space availability
- Create, update, and organize internal documents including SOPs, process guides, and policy manuals.
- Assist in drafting and organizing Company communications and related documentation.
- Partner with teams to ensure internal messaging is clear, consistent, and accessible across departments.
- Help build templates and standardized formats for internal documentation.
- Monitor feedback and engagement to continuously improve communication efforts.
- Develop and manage internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and updates.
- Take ownership and manage training and operational documentation library.
- Translate documentation into French using AI tools.
- 1–3 years of experience in creating operational documentation in a customer service focused environment or related area.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or Communications.
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills, organization skills.
- Comfortable with communication tools like SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Experience writing SOPs, policy documents, or process documentation is highly desirable.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for clarity and tone.
- Familiarity with change management principles is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and French an asset.
