Job Location: Rockledge, FL
Hours: M-T 8pm-4am and Friday 3pm-11pm
Scope:
Perform duties to support and test product samples to ensure that customer and company product specifications are achieved and contribute recommendations to the development of process improvements, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Essential Functions:
•Audit product characteristics and production processes, to ensure compliance with required product specifications and quality procedures.
•Perform a wide variety of product measurements, including but not limited to all measurements required for CTL configuration approval, release of finished goods for shipment, profile testing, and dimensional specification compliance.
•Perform a wide variety of visual inspections on the materials produced to detect defects that may affect quality, such as black identification, zinc chips, water stains, etc., if a non-conformity is found with the product, be sure to contain and react immediately under the established quality standards.
•Perform layered process audits at different production stations to ensure compliance with the regulations set for each process, if a non-conformity with the operator's task or training is found, ensure that the issue is immediately addressed with the operator or supervisor and make a note to that effect on the relevant LPA form in the record.
•Follow up on quality alerts and campaigns with operators, ensuring that the required actions are carried out.
•Calibrate precision measurement instruments to established and specified standards. Maintain measurement tooling calibration system.
•Generate daily reports related to the quality of audited/inspected products, including all traceability of each product.
•Make recommendations to quality improvement teams regarding processing modifications to enhance product quality.
•Train employees in precision measurement techniques and containment procedures.
Your qualifications and skills
•Excellent computer skills
•Excellent mathematics skills, especially algebra, geometry, basic statistics and SPC
•Ability to read blueprints, geometric tolerancing, and dimensioning
•Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
•Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
•Knowledge of process related standards.
•Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members

•ISO-9001 & IATF-16949 standard knowledge
