QTS NDT Inspection Specialist

Responsibilities:

- Conduct classroom and practical training in multiple methods/techniques

- Perform internal QMS, Process and Radiation Safety audits

- Interact with Engineering on new equipment design, acceptance

- Evaluate equipment to meet industry requirements

Self-starter that can handle work assignments with work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an NDT Level II in MT, UTTG, PT and EMI

- Familiarity with inspection of API 5B, 7-2 and/or proprietary threads

- Familiarity with Used Drill Pipe and Bottom Hole Assembly

- Willingness to pursue ASNT NDT Level III certification in MT, UT, PT, MFL and VT

- High school diploma or GED required

- Hold or willingness to obtain an auditing credential

- Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to effectively train others

- Approximately 25-30% domestic/foreign travel required

- Experience with MS Office programs

- Knowledge of Industry Standards such as API, ASNT, ASTM, DS-1 and NS-2

- Bi-lingual English-Spanish a plus.
