Punch Press Operator

Sets dies and punches, adjust and operate large coil feed punch presses with automatic levelers and feeders performing the operations of blanking, forming, drawing, notching, and piercing. Detects, reports and corrects faulty work and malfunction of dies, presses, etc. Lubricates materials and dies as needed. May place coil of stock into cradle. Works from written instructions. Inspects work periodically. Furnishes own hand tools. Must be able to proficiently perform in 50% of all the duties of an operator and setup of all automatic punch presses. Must do cycle counts in steel bay and do SAW operation.

Helps maintain good housekeeping and keeps materials, tools and equipment in proper place. Observes all safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
