Punch Machine Operator

Job Description

- Set up, change tooling as required per program, operate and maintain CNC Turret Punch Press machine.

- Understand/interpret detailed blueprints (shop drawings).

- Adjust settings as required.

- Perform machine adjustments and grinding or sharpening existing tools.

- Check dimensions on finished parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauges and/or calipers.

- Perform Quality Control using standard tools.

- Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

- HS Diploma or equivalent.

- 1-3 years of related experience preferred.

- Ability to operate CNC Turret Punch Press (Amada - preferably).

- Understand/interpret detailed blueprints (shop drawings).

- Ability to pay attention to small details.

- Ability to stand and be on your feet 10 hours/day.

- Good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
