Join our dynamic team as a Pumper, a vital role in the oil and gas industry dedicated to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of oil and gas wells. As a Pumper, you will oversee the day-to-day management of pumping equipment, monitor production processes, and maintain pipeline integrity. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on heavy equipment and contribute to energy extraction efforts while adhering to safety standards. Your mechanical expertise and proactive approach will help keep operations running smoothly and safely.
- Operate and monitor oil pumping units, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of pipelines, tanks, and associated equipment to detect leaks, corrosion, or mechanical issues.
- Manage fluid levels, pressures, and flow rates using gauges and control systems; adjust as necessary for efficient production.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as rigging, calibrating equipment, and troubleshooting mechanical problems with heavy machinery.
- Follow OSHA safety protocols diligently during all operations; document safety checks and incident reports accurately.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, equipment status, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prior experience working in oil & gas production environments is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations applicable to construction sites and industrial operations.
- Ability to perform commercial driving duties with a valid license
- Familiarity with procedures and maintenance of mechanical systems involved in oil extraction processes.
